The result is a rich, warm tone suited for the guitar. 15 watts allows you to achieve true power-amp distortion at a manageable volume; crank it up for a raw, vintage tone. It’s a beautiful sound that can’t be reproduced by any modern amplifier.

Analog Outfitters specializes in pro amp service. Our staff is equally skilled technicians and music loving gear heads. Our shop has thousands of hours of experience servicing amps and audio equipment of all kinds: vintage and modern, tube and solid-state. Whether your gear needs a diagnosis, a tune-up, or a total restoration, we will solve the problem and make sure your ears stay happy! We also offer special modifications and custom builds.

There are many great things to be said about the sound of a vintage tube amplifier. Like any piece of gear though, amplifiers need attention to sound their best. Without some servicing during its lifetime, even a 1959 Fender Bassman will eventually sound thin, wimpy, and noisy. With this in mind it is important to have a technician give your amplifier a 50,000 mile tune-up when that great sound starts to go south. Our vintage amplifier repair process includes the following as needed: replacing faulty power supply capacitors, checking for leaky coupling and bypass capacitors, testing and replacing tubes as needed, replacing out of spec or burned resistors, cleaning all pots, jacks, and tube sockets, measuring all operating voltages, and of course making sure that it sounds fantastic!!

We can recone JBL and Altec-Lansing speakers and compression drivers. Bring those old speakers back to life!! We have a JBL factory trained recone specialist in-house! We regularly repair and recone all kinds of pro-audio, amplifier, and PA monitors and speakers.

You can also drop off your Leslie at our shop, or we can pick it up at your house or recording studio. From there we will clean, lubricate, and rebuild the 2 speed motors so that they operate like new. We will lubricate all bearings, check for the proper function of the speaker and driver, and inspect and replace (if needed) the belts. We will also check the function of the amplifier (see Leslie Amp Rebuilding section for description of process). We can also do finish work if desired. Please call or email for prices and turn-around time.
Is it out of tune or does it simply sound weak? Send it to us and we will make it ready to rock in no time. We can rebuild the internal preamp, return the action to like-new condition, and tune it up. These vintage instruments can sound amazing, but they do need some TLC from time to time to make them sound their best.
